the Hospital’s kitchen has been refurbished

 

 

Mbusa - with a large crack in the wall

 

A quarter of Mbusa (the Childrens’ ward) had to be closed when problems with the foundations became evident that recently installed foundations were inadequate. The outer walls on the West side have had to demolished, and work is well under way to replace the foundations .

Materials are in place to build dedicated Burns Units in both Surgical Wards.

The Hospital has been able to purchase a new Toyota Land-Cruiser for use as an ambulance.

 

Another current project is to cover the walkways between the Kizito, Mukasa and Bethlehem (Surgical and Labour wards) and the operating theatres.
